I am a solo Board Certified Psychiatrist located in the Creekside Professional Building on the corner of Excelsior Blvd. and Louisiana Ave. Patients pay at the time of service (go to Fee Schedule and Insurance for further information).

I do psychiatric evaluations, individual and couples/family psychotherapy, and prescribe psychotropic medications when they are indicated. I am Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) with special qualifications in Addiction Psychiatry. My office responds promptly to phone calls and requests for appointments. I respect privacy and confidentiality, encourage integration with primary and specialty medical care, and participation of family and significant others when indicated. I believe that effective psychiatric treatment involves collaborative goal setting and judging effectiveness of treatment. I welcome collaboration with other mental health professionals and counselors. Regarding psychotherapy methods, I utilize cognitive behavioral, interpersonal, and psychodynamic principles. To enhance an effective physician-patient alliance and patient-centered care, I provide patients with a copy of my clinical case notes at each session.
